Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo recently addressed a fan's social media post that suggested he was out late the night before the Peach Bowl. The post, which included a picture of Skattebo at a bar, implied this was the reason Arizona State lost the game. Skattebo clarified on X (formerly Twitter) that he was having dinner with his family at 8:30 pm and does not consume alcohol. He also expressed his disappointment with people seeking attention online.

The fan who originally posted the picture later admitted it was meant to provoke a reaction, but defended their actions by saying they hadn't lied about Skattebo being out. They also stated they weren't trying to harm Skattebo's career.
