Chris Hemsworth Prioritizes Daughter's Childhood Over Acting Career

While Chris Hemsworth's daughter, India Rose, had a role in his recent "Thor" film, Hemsworth is emphasizing the importance of her childhood over pursuing an acting career at a young age.

India's appearance in the movie evolved from a brief moment to a more substantial part, with Hemsworth offering her the opportunity to deliver lines. He shared with Entertainment Tonight that she embraced the experience and performed professionally.

Despite her enjoyment of the experience, Hemsworth is keen for India to have a normal childhood. He expressed his and his daughter's desire for her to focus on school, hobbies, and simply being a kid. He believes that once immersed in the demanding world of acting, it can be difficult to step back and experience the typical joys of childhood.

He's open to supporting her acting aspirations in the future if she remains interested, but for now, he's encouraging her to enjoy her youth. He recalled telling her, "There's plenty of time, sweetie. Go to school, horse ride, have fun, be a kid."

Hemsworth previously discussed the unique family experience of filming with India during a FOX 5 interview, characterizing it as a special, one-time event. He reiterated his preference for his children not to become child actors, emphasizing the importance of a normal upbringing.
