Supermodel Christie Brinkley recently offered a charming glimpse into her Long Island residence in Sag Harbor, New York, thanks to a visit from internet personality Caleb Simpson, known for his impromptu home tours with New Yorkers.
Initially posted on YouTube in 2023 and recently shared on TikTok, the video showcases Brinkley's impressive estate, which Simpson likened to a castle. Brinkley, who has resided there for 24 years – the longest she's ever called one place home – revealed she is currently "re-wilding" her expansive fields, anticipating a vibrant display of flowers in the spring. The property, purchased in 1998, boasts an impressive 11 bedrooms and sprawls across over 20 acres, according to reports.
The tour highlighted various features of Brinkley's outdoor space, including a chicken coop housing chickens with names like "Scrambled" and "Sunny Side Up," a greenhouse, a pool and spa, and vast open fields. Brinkley described her abode as a "little storybook house."
A highlight of the tour was the climb to the top of the property's tower, prompting Simpson to playfully dub Brinkley the "self-proclaimed Queen of the Hamptons," a title she accepted with a laugh.
Inside, Brinkley shared some of her treasured possessions, including framed artwork created by her three children, Alexa, Jack, and Sailor, and a remarkable 270-year-old bonsai tree.
Fans on TikTok expressed admiration for Brinkley's home and lifestyle. Comments ranged from praising her appearance and the beauty of her home to expressing envy of her idyllic life.
While the Hamptons home was reportedly listed for sale in 2021 for $29.5 million, Brinkley confided in Simpson that although she occasionally considers selling, her children's attachment to the property has prevented her from doing so. They cherish their childhood home, and Brinkley expressed her joy that her children are frequently there.
