Former NBA player and human rights activist Enes Kanter Freedom has voiced strong criticism of the Biden administration's relationship with China. He expressed his concerns on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle," focusing on Jeffrey Katzenberg, a co-chair of President Biden's 2024 reelection campaign, and his connections to Beijing. Katzenberg, a prominent Hollywood figure and Democratic fundraiser, has a history of engagement with China, including frequent visits and business dealings. Kanter Freedom views Katzenberg as a "Trojan horse" for the Chinese government within the Biden administration.

Kanter Freedom, a staunch advocate for human rights, particularly regarding China, questioned the administration's motives for maintaining close ties with the country. He highlighted China's human rights record, referencing the Uyghurs and Tibetans, as well as concerns about TikTok's influence and the Chinese spy balloon incident. He expressed confusion over the administration's apparent willingness to collaborate with what he calls the "biggest dictatorship in the world."

Kanter Freedom's activism has led to conflicts with various entities, including TikTok. He was temporarily banned from the platform after posting a video about human rights abuses in Shanghai. He later stated that his account was reinstated around the time TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew testified before Congress. Kanter Freedom has also been critical of the NBA and other organizations for their perceived ties to the Chinese government.

In addition to his activism, Kanter Freedom has hinted at a possible future in politics, mentioning a potential run for Congress. He has expressed interest in Florida as a potential location.
