The animal rights organization PETA has expressed disapproval of NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus's recent interaction with a shark, captured in a video where he is seen grabbing the shark's tail. The incident occurred while Rosenhaus was with Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill. After someone on the boat hooked a dusky shark, Rosenhaus, equipped with a snorkel mask, entered the water and engaged with the animal. While the video generated a mixed response on social media platforms, PETA's reaction was decidedly negative.

In a statement provided to TMZ Sports, PETA criticized Rosenhaus, suggesting that his time spent with elite athletes might have fueled a need to demonstrate his own prowess. The organization highlighted the suffering of aquatic animals at the hands of anglers and argued that such creatures don't need further harassment from individuals seeking social media attention. Rosenhaus has not yet publicly responded to PETA's criticism.

This incident follows another recent PETA campaign where the organization urged FIFA to sever its sponsorship ties with Budweiser for the upcoming Men's and Women's World Cups, citing concerns about the treatment of the Budweiser Clydesdales. PETA addressed a letter to FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who has yet to offer a response.
