A late-night house party in El Paso, Texas, turned violent on Friday, resulting in at least six people being hospitalized with gunshot wounds. The incident occurred on Swan Drive, near the El Paso Country Club in the city's Upper Valley area.
While initial reports suggested eight individuals were injured, the El Paso Police Department later clarified that six were transported to local hospitals. Fortunately, none of the injuries are considered life-threatening. Some individuals reportedly declined medical transport.
Local news station KFOX14 spoke with witnesses who indicated the gathering was a party attended by underage individuals. The El Paso Police Department has not yet announced any arrests in connection with the shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
