Supercross Racers Suspended After On-Track Brawl

The 2025 Supercross season witnessed a dramatic start with riders Braden Spangle and Wyatt Mattson receiving suspensions after an on-track altercation during the third 250 race. The incident unfolded during qualifying at Anaheim's Angels Stadium when Spangle and Mattson collided mid-air. The ensuing brawl on the track nearly resulted in a collision with fellow rider Anthony Castaneda and other approaching racers. Supercross officials intervened to ensure the safety of the other riders as they separated the entangled racers. Both Spangle and Mattson were subsequently suspended from the race.

Deegan currently holds the second position in the overall standings, trailing Beaumer by seven points after the first three races.
