Pasadena, Texas authorities are actively pursuing Juan Carlos Mata, 20, in connection with the death of his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend, Leslie Reyes. Reyes was tragically shot and killed Monday night in the parking lot of the Oakwood Village Apartments. Police believe Mata was waiting for Reyes to return home and that the former couple had a brief conversation before the shooting occurred. Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene.
