Tennessee Titans running back Hassan Haskins and his girlfriend, Makiah Green, were both arrested following a domestic dispute on June 22nd in Nashville. The incident began, according to reports, with an argument sparked by Green liking another man's Instagram photo. This escalated into a physical altercation, with accusations of Haskins pushing Green to the floor and strangling her. Both individuals admit to slapping each other.
Later, after a meal out where Haskins allegedly left Green, another confrontation occurred at their home. Green reportedly threw a glass at Haskins and locked herself in a bedroom. Haskins allegedly kicked the door down, leading to further physical altercations, including Green allegedly ripping a chain from Haskins' neck and both parties damaging each other's phones. Haskins claims Green attacked him with a broom, choked him, and threw his PlayStation 5. Green alleges she broke Haskins' phone after seeing Snapchats of other women.
Haskins was arrested on an aggravated assault charge and is scheduled to appear in court on July 10th. Green was also arrested and released on bond. Haskins, a fourth-round draft pick from the University of Michigan in 2022, played in 15 games for the Titans last season, primarily on special teams.
