In his first interview since returning to the White House, former President Donald Trump discussed his political resurgence and criticized the Biden administration's policies in a conversation with Fox News host Sean Hannity. Trump's return, he argued, demonstrates the failure of what he termed the "radical left's" agenda over the past four years.
During the Wednesday Oval Office interview, the 47th president highlighted issues such as inflation, the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the conflicts in Ukraine and Israel as key areas of concern. He expressed a sense of urgency, stating his belief that his victory was crucial to preventing the country's decline.

Trump acknowledged the challenges in addressing the nation's problems but remained optimistic about their solvability. He emphasized the importance of his electoral win, suggesting that a different outcome would have had dire consequences for the country.

Hannity also questioned Trump about former President Biden's pardons of his family members in his final moments in office. Trump found it ironic that Biden, who had previously expressed concern over preemptive pardons during Trump's presidency, ultimately pardoned several of his own relatives.

Biden defended the pardons, stating they were not an admission of guilt but a precaution against potential politically motivated investigations. Trump, however, declined to comment on whether Congress should investigate the Biden family, simply noting the perceived discrepancy in Biden's actions versus his prior statements.

The second part of Hannity's interview with President Trump is scheduled to air on Fox News.
