Chicago police have apprehended two individuals suspected of being undocumented immigrants in connection with the death of a 63-year-old man discovered bound in his Norwood Park residence. The victim, George Levin, was found with duct tape around his face and mouth. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death a homicide resulting from multiple assault injuries.
Law enforcement sources indicate the suspects, identified as 21-year-old Geiderwuin Bello Morales and 29-year-old Jefferson Ubilla-Delgado, are migrants, one hailing from Venezuela and the other from Ecuador. A high-ranking U.S. official believes they entered the United States via the Texas border during the summer of 2023.

Morales and Ubilla-Delgado each face charges of murder and robbery of a victim over 60 or with a disability. Their court appearance is scheduled for Saturday.

Ubilla-Delgado's arrest occurred on Wednesday, while Morales was taken into custody on Thursday. Fox News Digital has contacted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for comment.
Sources suggest Levin may have encountered the suspects through a gay dating application. They believe the suspects robbed him during their meeting, potentially indicating a premeditated robbery.

Sources also revealed that one of the suspects was reportedly arrested in Chicago on January 12 for allegedly attempting to lure children, but was released the following day.
Levin resided in the lower level of a home shared with his sister in Norwood Park, a generally peaceful neighborhood known for its population of law enforcement and city employees.

Coincidentally, a significant immigration enforcement operation, spearheaded by former ICE Director Tom Homan and the Department of Justice, took place in Chicago on the same day as Levin's death. According to Homan, this operation resulted in the arrests of convicted murderers, aggravated sex offenders, members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and others.
