White House Cocaine Investigation: "The View" Co-hosts Claim GOP Using Incident to Target Hunter and President Biden

Following the Secret Service's inconclusive investigation into the cocaine discovered at the White House, the co-hosts of "The View" expressed their concern that the incident is being exploited by the Republican Party to attack Hunter Biden and his father, President Joe Biden.

Co-host Ana Navarro even speculated that the illicit substance might have been planted to further tarnish Hunter Biden's reputation. The discussion took place after the Secret Service announced the closure of its investigation without identifying the individual responsible for bringing the cocaine onto the premises.

The Secret Service stated that they were unable to obtain usable fingerprints or sufficient DNA for comparison, and therefore couldn't match the evidence to any known individuals. The FBI confirmed the substance was indeed cocaine.

During the show, a clip was played of Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) reacting to the investigation's conclusion. She implied a potential cover-up to protect the Biden family, stating, "I would like answers cause it just seems like any time we have any questions about any unsavory activity around the Bidens, no one can provide an answer conclusively or not, someone always ends up lying."

Co-host Joy Behar initiated the panel's discussion, asking, "So is this more fodder for the Republican conspiracy machine?"

Navarro argued affirmatively, asserting that regardless of the investigation's outcome, Hunter Biden would be blamed. She claimed the GOP is "weaponizing" Hunter Biden against his father, exploiting the situation to provoke an emotional reaction from the president.

Navarro further emphasized that the incident has no connection to Hunter Biden, but that repeated accusations will still convince those predisposed to believe them. She also hinted at the possibility of the cocaine being planted to fuel the narrative surrounding the president's son.

In a previous discussion, Behar and Navarro debated White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre's criticism of a reporter who questioned whether the cocaine belonged to the Biden family. Behar found Jean-Pierre's response inappropriate, while Navarro defended it, noting the Biden family's absence from the White House at the time.

Alyssa Farah Griffin countered, pointing out the uncertainty surrounding the timing of the cocaine's presence. Fox News Digital contacted the White House for a response to the show's commentary. Ana Navarro on "The View" Texas deputy sentenced for cocaine bust
