Renowned Canadian actress and model, Dayle Haddon, has passed away at the age of 76. Solebury Township Police Department confirmed with Fox News Digital that the cause of death is suspected to be carbon monoxide poisoning, stemming from a faulty flue and exhaust pipe connected to a gas heating system within the residence.

While the Bucks County Coroner’s Office awaits toxicology results, the initial investigation points to this tragic accident. The incident occurred on the morning of December 27, 2024, when emergency services received a call about an unconscious man in a detached office suite on the property. This man, identified as Walter Blucas, was rescued and remains in critical condition. Sadly, Haddon was found unresponsive in her bed on the second floor and pronounced dead at the scene.

High levels of carbon monoxide were detected within the home, owned by Haddon’s daughter, Ryan Haddon, and her husband, actor Marc Blucas. Two medics and a police officer also required treatment for carbon monoxide exposure. This heartbreaking event underscores the critical importance of carbon monoxide detectors and regular maintenance of heating systems.

Born in Canada in 1948, Haddon had a multifaceted career. She began as a ballet dancer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and later became Miss Montreal. Her modeling career saw her grace the covers of Vogue, Elle, and Cosmopolitan, and she secured contracts with major cosmetic brands like Revlon, Max Factor, Estée Lauder, and L’Oréal. She also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as Disney’s "The World’s Greatest Athlete" and "North Dallas Forty." Beyond entertainment, Haddon authored books on ageless beauty and living, and served as an ambassador for UNICEF.

Haddon’s daughter, Ryan, shared a moving tribute on social media, celebrating her mother’s vibrant life, kindness, and profound impact on those who knew her.
