Nearly three years after initiating divorce proceedings, Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers have reached a settlement. Court documents obtained by Fox News Digital reveal that Hammer recently signed a declaration for default or uncontested dissolution in Los Angeles County.
The couple, who wed in 2010 and share two children, Harper (8) and Ford (6), have navigated a complex separation process. Chambers has been residing in the Cayman Islands with their children since filing for divorce, while maintaining a co-parenting relationship with Hammer.
Chambers' initial divorce filing followed serious allegations against Hammer, including abuse, rape, and disturbing cannibalistic fantasies, which he has consistently denied. In May, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office declared that Hammer would not face charges in a sexual assault case stemming from accusations made in 2021. A woman had alleged that Hammer raped her in 2017, leading to a nine-month investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. Hammer has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct.
The controversy surrounding Hammer resulted in his removal from various film projects, including "The Offer" and "Shotgun Wedding." Subsequently, Hammer entered rehab for treatment related to substance abuse and sex addiction, completing his program in May 2021.
