China is reportedly developing an advanced warship equipped with groundbreaking technologies, aiming to revolutionize naval combat. According to Rear Admiral Ma Weiming of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, this vessel will incorporate rail guns, laser weapons, high-powered microwaves, and rocket launchers, all powered by nuclear energy converted into electromagnetic energy.
This all-in-one warship is envisioned to perform the functions of an entire fleet of conventional ships. While the development timeline remains undisclosed, Admiral Ma asserts that China has already achieved foundational technologies, including electromagnetic launch systems for various combat platforms. He claims successful large-scale rail gun tests at sea and significant progress in smaller electromagnetic gun development, particularly in enhancing shooting accuracy.

Admiral Ma highlights China's breakthroughs in electromagnetic launch systems for diverse combat platforms, from land-based vehicles to underwater systems. He also mentions completing long-range tests exceeding current firearms' range and kinetic energy records. Ambitiously, he suggests these rail guns could potentially strike near-space targets at hypersonic speeds, with missiles loading as rapidly as an automatic rifle.

This ambitious project signifies a shift from theoretical concepts to practical engineering, marking a significant advancement in electromagnetic energy equipment.
