Musician Sting has been forced to postpone several concerts due to a throat infection. The announcement came via social media on Tuesday, explaining that the decision was made under medical advice. Affected shows include the Bass Magazine Awards, concerts in Phoenix and Wheatland, and a performance at the Cherrytree Music Company's 20th-anniversary celebration. The Phoenix and Wheatland concerts have been rescheduled to June 1st and May 28th, respectively, with the Cherrytree event moved to May 29th. Fans are advised to hold onto their tickets, as they will be honored for the new dates.

Following the initial announcement, Sting provided an update on his condition via Instagram, thanking fans for their support and confirming the throat infection. He expressed optimism about returning to the stage soon. Fans responded with messages of encouragement and well wishes.

This isn't the first time health issues have impacted Sting's performance schedule. In 2018, a concert in San Francisco with Shaggy was canceled shortly before it was due to start, also due to Sting's health. The singer is currently on his Sting 3.0 tour.
