Ford's own health journey began in 2022 after being diagnosed with myasthenia gravis. He later suffered a near-fatal heart attack in 2024, which prompted him to make even more significant lifestyle changes, including cutting out fried foods and soda and increasing his physical activity. He admitted that maintaining a healthy diet can be difficult, especially after years of relying on fast food, but he stressed the importance of perseverance.

Ford shared an anecdote about refusing a Waffle House birthday meal, a moment that signified his triumph over his fast-food cravings. He expressed satisfaction in being able to share his experience and offer support to other artists like Jelly Roll.
