Sean "Diddy" Combs will experience a different kind of Thanksgiving this year as he remains incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Denied bail for the third time on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, the music mogul will be served a traditional Thanksgiving meal at lunchtime, consisting of roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls, and pie. A vegetarian option of hot and sour tofu will also be available. His breakfast and dinner will be more basic, with offerings like cereal, fruit, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
This holiday meal echoes the fare Combs received for his 55th birthday earlier this month, also spent in detention. For his birthday, lunch included pasta and salad options, while dinner featured chicken or tofu fried rice. Combs has been held since his September arrest, facing charges that could result in a life sentence. Prosecutors have argued against bail, citing concerns about witness tampering, intimidation, and flight risk, highlighting what they describe as a history of obstruction and abuse. His trial is set for May 5th.
