Former Trans Activist Regrets Past Advocacy, Claims 'Indoctrination' and 'Grooming'

Kay Yang, once a vocal advocate for transgender rights, now openly criticizes her past activism. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, she expressed regret over her previous work, stating she felt "indoctrinated" into gender ideology.

Yang, a former employee of an LGBT Center in New York, described her past work as "grooming," explaining that she now sees it as preparing individuals for a specific objective. She has become a prominent opponent of gender ideology being taught in K-12 education and recently experienced a physical assault while protesting at a New York City pride event. Yang recounted being "kicked, hit, pushed, mobbed by dozens of people" and verbally abused.

Yang, who initially sought to champion human rights and equality for gay couples, now believes her intentions were manipulated to advance a mass marketing campaign promoting gender ideology to children. Reflecting on her 2011 position conducting LGBT community outreach and education, she recalled her desire to help marginalized and oppressed individuals. However, she now feels her work unknowingly contributed to a larger movement normalizing policies that, in her view, inflict "irreversible medical damage on healthy children."

A long-time advocate for marriage equality, Yang now believes her passion for equality was exploited by what she perceives as a regressive agenda undermining women's sex-based rights. She expressed feeling "exploited" and "taken advantage of," and described the process of confronting her past actions as "devastating" and "difficult."

Yang admitted to being considered an expert on gender ideology at the time, fully believing in its tenets. She recounted being "indoctrinated" through her work at the LGBT Center, where she and her colleagues were seen as experts despite, in her view, not fully understanding the subject matter.

Now, Yang is determined to prevent other young girls from experiencing what she describes as indoctrination. She expresses concern about children being taught what she considers "untruths" about their bodies and the world, fearing it fosters shame and sets them up for danger. She advocates for teaching children to love and accept their bodies and is worried that current ideologies are grooming young girls to reject sex-based rights.
