Just a couple of hours before appearing on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," actress Kaley Cuoco experienced a surprising and slightly unsettling incident in her New York City hotel room. During her interview with Meyers, Cuoco recounted the awkward encounter, which involved an unexpected male visitor while she was undressed and blow-drying her hair.
Cuoco described looking up in the mirror and noticing a man in her room. Uncertain if the man, who she presumed worked at the hotel, realized she had seen him, she watched as he slowly backed out of the room. She compared her reaction to seeing a bear, feeling frozen in place.
After calling out to the man, he quickly apologized and left. Cuoco admitted she hadn't initially discussed the incident with anyone, too flustered to process it until she was getting ready for her talk show appearance. She then shared the story with the hair and makeup team backstage, deciding it was too bizarre not to recount publicly.
Meyers playfully teased Cuoco about the timing of the incident, noting it made for a perfect anecdote just before her talk show appearance. Cuoco agreed, adding that the story was too strange to fabricate.
The actress, known for her roles in "The Big Bang Theory" and "Based on a True Story," is currently engaged to Tom Pelphrey, with whom she shares an 18-month-old daughter.
