An Ohio man has confessed to meticulously planning and carrying out the murders of his three young sons, according to prosecutors. Chad Doerman, 32, allegedly lined the boys up before fatally shooting them with a rifle at their Monroe Township home. He also reportedly wounded the children's mother during the horrific incident.
During Doerman's arraignment on Friday, Clermont County's chief prosecutor of Municipal Court, David Gast, revealed chilling details of the crime. One of the boys attempted to escape into a nearby field, but Doerman pursued him, brought him back to the house, and then killed him. Doerman is facing aggravated murder charges and is currently held in Clermont County Jail on a $20 million bond.
The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving two 911 calls on Thursday afternoon. One call came from the frantic mother screaming that her children had been shot. The second call was from a passerby who witnessed a young girl running down the street, claiming her father was killing people. Responding deputies discovered the three boys, aged 3, 4, and 7, outside the home with fatal gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, the children died at the scene. Their names have not yet been released.

The 34-year-old mother, who has not been identified, sustained a gunshot wound to her hand and was taken to a hospital. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening. Doerman was apprehended at the scene without incident while sitting on a stoop.
Prosecutors confirmed that Doerman admitted to lining up his sons and shooting them execution-style. The motive behind this horrific act remains undisclosed. Neighbors in the typically quiet Monroe Township, located approximately 75 miles west of Columbus, reported hearing multiple gunshots. One neighbor recounted hearing seven distinct shots, describing the experience as deeply disturbing and unsettling.
