Following a mass shooting at a Wichita nightclub earlier this month that left nearly a dozen injured, police have apprehended a second suspect. The 27-year-old man faces charges of aggravated battery and illegal firearm possession. This arrest follows the apprehension of a 19-year-old suspect on Friday. Authorities have not yet released the names of either individual, and it remains unclear if formal charges have been filed.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of July 2nd at City Nightz nightclub in downtown Wichita. Nine individuals sustained gunshot wounds, while two others were injured in the ensuing chaos. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. The victims, comprising seven men and two women, ranged in age from 22 to 34. The two individuals who suffered trampling injuries were a 30-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man.
