Silvio Berlusconi's Health Shows Positive Signs Amid Leukemia Battle

Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's condition continues to improve, offering a glimmer of hope as he battles a lung infection and chronic leukemia. The 86-year-old media mogul and three-time premier was admitted to the intensive care unit at Milan’s San Raffaele hospital last Wednesday. Physicians Alberto Zangrillo and Fabio Ciceri reported a "steady and consistent improvement" in his health, indicating that the prescribed antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory therapies are yielding positive results. While cautious optimism prevails, the medical team is encouraged by the progress. Berlusconi's ongoing recovery has been bolstered by frequent visits from family and friends. This is not Berlusconi's first serious health challenge; he has a history of heart issues and was hospitalized with COVID-19 and pneumonia in 2020.
