Speculation surrounding a potential romance between NFL icon Tom Brady and business mogul Kim Kardashian has been put to rest by Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin. Rumors ignited after the pair attended Rubin's Fourth of July celebration in the Hamptons, but Rubin clarified to Entertainment Tonight that Brady and Kardashian are simply friends.
Rubin attributed the rumors to the festive atmosphere of the party and the infrequency of Brady's public appearances. He jokingly mentioned Kim Kardashian's non-drinking habits, contrasting them with the celebratory drinks she had that night, and Brady's enjoyment of the event as fuel for the gossip. He emphasized that Brady spends limited time socializing, making his presence at the party noteworthy.
The star-studded Fourth of July bash also included other prominent figures like James Harden and Joe Burrow. Despite a source previously denying any romantic involvement to People magazine, a Daily Mail report resurfaced the rumors, claiming the two were seen flirting and spending time together on the beach and dancing at night.
However, sources close to the situation countered this narrative, informing Page Six that Brady and Kardashian interacted briefly and weren't observed flirting or dancing. Brady was reportedly seen conversing with several women at the event.
Following his second and final retirement announcement in February after 23 seasons in the NFL, Brady has consistently refuted comeback rumors. He reiterated his commitment to retirement in a June interview, expressing his focus on his upcoming broadcasting role with Fox, his involvement with the Las Vegas Raiders, and his family.
