Just days before his January 20th inauguration, President-elect Trump has revealed several key nominations for his upcoming administration. The announcements, made via Truth Social on Thursday afternoon, highlighted a range of appointees and their intended roles.

Chris Stallings has been chosen to lead disaster recovery and resilience efforts for the Small Business Administration (SBA). Currently heading the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, Stallings will collaborate with incoming SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler to support small businesses during times of crisis. Trump emphasized their joint mission to ensure a swift and effective government response to protect the backbone of the American economy.

For the Department of Agriculture, Luke Lindberg has been nominated as Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs. With prior experience as Chief of Staff and Chief Strategy Officer at the Export-Import Bank during Trump's first term, Lindberg brings significant trade expertise to the role. Currently leading South Dakota Trade, a public-private partnership focused on international trade, Lindberg will focus on securing advantageous trade agreements for American farmers and ranchers.

Dr. Troy Meink, currently Principal Deputy Director of the National Reconnaissance Office, has been selected as Secretary of the Air Force. Beginning his career as a KC-135 tanker navigator and later working on missile defense systems, Meink will work alongside incoming Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth to maintain a powerful and effective Air Force.
Dudley Hoskins has been tapped for the role of Undersecretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs at the Department of Agriculture. Currently counsel on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, Hoskins previously served at the USDA during Trump's first term. He will work with incoming Agriculture Secretary nominee Brooke Rollins on ensuring the safety and quality of American food.

Richard Fordyce, a fourth-generation farmer, is nominated as Undersecretary for Farm Production and Conservation at the Department of Agriculture. With prior experience as administrator of the Farm Service Agency during Trump's first term, Fordyce will collaborate with Brooke Rollins to support American farmers and ranchers.
Finally, Michael Boren, a successful businessman and founder of several companies, including Clearwater Analytics, has been chosen as Undersecretary for Natural Resources and Environment at the Department of Agriculture. With a background including volunteer firefighting and service on the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation board, Boren will focus on revitalizing forest management.
