A devastating shooting at a Baltimore block party has claimed the lives of two young individuals and left 28 others injured. Law enforcement agencies are now offering a combined $28,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and charges in connection with this tragic incident.
The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 800 block of Gretna Court. Aaliyah Gonzalez, 18, died at the scene, while 20-year-old Kylis Fagbemi succumbed to their injuries at a local hospital. Over two dozen others, including more than a dozen minors, were also injured in the gunfire, though their injuries are thankfully not considered life-threatening.
Multiple agencies have stepped up to contribute to the substantial reward being offered. Metro Crime Stoppers has pledged $8,000, the ATF is offering $10,000, and the FBI is also contributing $10,000, bringing the total to $28,000.

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and investigators are working to determine whether it was a targeted attack or a random act of violence.

Mayor Brandon Scott expressed his outrage and determination to bring the perpetrators to justice. "We will not stop until we find you, and we will find you," he declared. "Until then, I hope that every single breath you take, that you think about the lives that you took, think about the lives that you impacted here tonight."
In a separate incident, a bus reportedly collided with a building on West Franklin Street in central Baltimore, resulting in at least 17 injuries. Emergency responders requested additional medical personnel to assist with the situation.
