A string of burglaries targeting athletes continues, with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott's fiancée, Sarah Ramos, becoming the latest victim. Just one day before Dallas Mavericks star Luka Dončić's home was burglarized, Ramos had nearly $40,000 worth of items stolen from her vehicle, according to a Dallas Police Department report obtained by WFAA.
The incident occurred last Thursday when Ramos reportedly left her car unlocked while rushing inside for a Pilates class due to bad weather. Upon returning, she discovered numerous items missing and was alerted to her credit cards being used elsewhere.

Among the stolen goods were designer handbags and wallets from luxury brands like Chanel, YSL, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada, along with computer software and cash. This theft comes amid a wave of similar incidents involving athletes, including Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, whose homes were burglarized last month, and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who also experienced a break-in.
Dončić's home was burglarized the day after Ramos's car, with thieves reportedly taking a necklace, earrings, and rings worth a combined $23,000. The NFL has issued a league-wide memo warning players about these burglaries, believed to be the work of an organized group. The memo, obtained by the Associated Press, indicates that professional athletes across multiple sports are being increasingly targeted by sophisticated criminal organizations.

Reports suggest the FBI is investigating the crime spree, possibly linked to a South American syndicate. These criminals are known for their thorough surveillance of targets' homes, sometimes posing as groundskeepers, joggers, or delivery personnel. The NFL's memo advises players to enhance their home security and refrain from sharing real-time location updates or displaying expensive possessions on social media.

Prescott and Ramos announced their engagement in October, shortly before Prescott suffered a season-ending hamstring injury. They have a daughter together, Margaret Jane Rose Prescott.
