Guardians Prospect Sparks Bench-Clearing Brawl in Triple-A Game

During a Thursday night Triple-A matchup between the Columbus Clippers and the Nashville Sounds, Cleveland Guardians prospect George Valera was ejected after triggering a bench-clearing brawl. The incident began with a heated exchange between Valera and Brewers prospect Alex Jackson. Valera, a 22-year-old outfielder, appeared to shove Jackson, escalating the situation and drawing both teams onto the field.

The altercation took place in the top of the third inning with the Clippers holding a two-run lead. Home plate umpire Tanner Moore attempted to intervene, but Valera's actions, seemingly directed at Jackson's mask, further inflamed the situation. The ensuing chaos saw Valera reportedly throwing punches at Jackson before the two were separated.
