Following the tragic implosion of the OceanGate Titan submersible, the sons of British businessman and adventurer Hamish Harding have shared heartfelt tributes, describing their father as a "loving" individual with an unforgettable presence.

Harding, the founder of Action Aviation, was one of five crew members who perished in the submersible's catastrophic implosion during its descent to the Titanic wreckage. Statements released by his sons via Action Aviation painted a picture of a man who was not only a driven entrepreneur but also a devoted and inspirational father.
One son recounted how Harding inspired him beyond measure, sharing invaluable life lessons and embodying a humorous personality, strong work ethic, and unwavering generosity. He expressed his desire to live up to even half of the man his father was.

Another son highlighted Harding's adventurous spirit, love for his family, and determination in business. He emphasized his father's constant pursuit of excellence and his ability to uplift and support those around him with his energetic and charismatic personality. The son lamented the world's loss of such a vibrant and optimistic presence.

Harding, along with OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, and French maritime expert Paul-Henry Nargeolet, were aboard the Titan when it lost contact with its surface vessel. The subsequent international search and rescue operation culminated in the discovery of debris confirming the submersible's implosion. U.S. Coast Guard Rear Admiral John Mauger expressed condolences to the families upon this devastating discovery.
