Kash Patel: The Investigator Who Exposed the Russia Collusion Narrative

Former House Intelligence Committee investigator Kash Patel played a crucial role in uncovering the truth behind the Trump-Russia collusion allegations. His work revealed government surveillance abuses and ultimately led to the appointment of two special counsels. One counsel confirmed the absence of collusion, while the other exposed the flawed premise of the FBI's initial investigation.

Serving under then-Chairman Devin Nunes, Patel's investigation unearthed significant governmental misconduct, despite facing resistance from the FBI and DOJ. Nunes, now heading Trump's Truth Social platform, praised Patel's instrumental role in debunking the collusion narrative.

The FBI's investigation, codenamed "Crossfire Hurricane," began in July 2016. By January 2017, then-FBI Director James Comey informed Trump about the Steele dossier, a document filled with unverified allegations about Trump's supposed links to Russia. This dossier, commissioned by Fusion GPS and funded by the Clinton campaign and the DNC, became a central element in launching the investigation.

Simultaneously, the House Intelligence Committee launched its own investigation. Patel's findings by February 2018 revealed extensive surveillance abuse, including the improper monitoring of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page. Page himself commended Patel's dedication to exposing these civil rights violations.

A key revelation in the Nunes memo, co-authored by Patel, was the FBI's reliance on the Steele dossier for the FISA warrants against Page while omitting its Democratic origins. The memo also highlighted Steele's dismissal as an FBI informant for unauthorized disclosures to the media.

Despite initial criticism, the memo's accuracy was later validated by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Nunes also revealed that Patel himself was subjected to surveillance and information warfare tactics during the investigation.

Mueller

Mueller's investigation concluded in April 2019 with no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion. Subsequently, Special Counsel John Durham's investigation into the origins of the FBI probe confirmed the agency's failure to adhere to the law and revealed a Clinton-led effort to influence the legal process for political gain.

This plan involved linking Trump to Russia to divert attention from Clinton's email server controversy. Patel's investigative work played a critical role in bringing these facts to light.
