Cousins shared that the series provided a unique opportunity for fans to connect with him on a personal level, beyond his role as a football player. He noted that his wife, Julie, became a recognizable figure after the show, and that the overall experience allowed viewers to see a different side of him.

The docuseries showcased various aspects of Cousins' life, including his injury recovery process, his off-day routines, and his family interactions. This behind-the-scenes look offered fans a deeper understanding of the then-Minnesota Vikings quarterback.

Beyond the fan connection, Cousins emphasized the value of the documentary as a personal keepsake for his children. He expressed his excitement about sharing the footage with his sons in the future, allowing them to see what their father's life was like during the 2022 football season.

During that season, the Vikings achieved a 13-4 regular season record before losing to the New York Giants in the NFC wild-card round. Following the 2023 season, Cousins joined the Atlanta Falcons. He's currently leading the Falcons, who hold a 6-5 record and are at the top of the NFC South.

Meanwhile, the Vikings replaced Cousins with first-round draft pick J.J. McCarthy and free agent Sam Darnold. Darnold has led the Vikings to a 9-2 record, placing them second in the NFC North behind the Detroit Lions. Cousins will face his former team when the Falcons travel to Minnesota on December 8th.
