The incident occurred after his wife, Keely Shaye Brosnan, reminded him to answer the door. Brosnan initially ignored the doorbell but then sprang into action, leading to the unfortunate mishap. He described the experience as "fairly miserable."
Brosnan also shared details about his relationship with Keely, praising her culinary skills and their shared enjoyment of backgammon, a game she often wins. He fondly recalled their regular date nights at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, the same restaurant where they had their first date.
This anecdote comes shortly after a break-in at the couple's Malibu guest house last month. An intruder entered the property, used the outdoor shower, and was subsequently escorted off the premises by staff. Law enforcement confirmed the incident and noted that the intruder had initially entered a neighboring property's laundry room.
