In a recent Truth Social post, President-elect Trump announced that his incoming administration has already brought on board over 1,000 personnel for the U.S. government, praising their qualifications and anticipating positive outcomes from their work. He expressed confidence in their abilities and predicted swift progress towards his "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" agenda.
Furthermore, the post outlined specific criteria for future staffing considerations. Trump advised against recommending individuals with ties to certain figures he deems unfavorable. This list includes individuals like former National Security Advisor John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, and others. Trump specifically discouraged recommendations from those who have worked with or been endorsed by these individuals.

The post specifically named individuals such as Charles Koch, John Bolton, Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, General Mark Milley, James Mattis, and Mark Esper as figures whose associations would disqualify potential candidates. He characterized these individuals as suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)."
It's worth noting that both Haley and Pence ran for the GOP presidential nomination in the recent election cycle. While Haley ultimately endorsed Trump, Pence did not.

Liz Cheney, a prominent critic of Trump and one of the ten House Republicans who voted to impeach him following the January 6th Capitol riot, has publicly supported and campaigned with Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 Democratic presidential campaign.
Former House Speaker Paul Ryan has stated he would not vote for Trump, opting instead to write in another Republican candidate, a practice he also followed in the previous election. Mitt Romney, who voted to convict Trump in both of his impeachment trials, has also indicated he wouldn't vote for Trump in 2024. Similarly, John Bolton expressed on BBC's "HARDtalk" his disapproval of both presidential candidates.
