Trump and Vance Honor Fallen Soldiers at Arlington Cemetery Wreath-Laying

On the eve of his return to the White House, President-elect Donald Trump, accompanied by Vice President-elect JD Vance, paid tribute to fallen service members at Arlington National Cemetery. The solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier took place on a drizzly Sunday in Virginia.

Joining the president-elect and Mr. Vance were their wives, Melania Trump and Usha Vance, respectively. Also present were Trump's children: Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Ivanka Trump.

Several individuals nominated for cabinet positions by Trump were also observed among the attendees, including prospective Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio, Tulsi Gabbard, nominated as Director of National Intelligence, and Elise Stefanik, the nominee for United Nations Ambassador.

In a display of respect, Trump laid a wreath at the tomb, followed by Vance. During the ceremony, Trump maintained a salute while Vance held his hand over his heart. The event was conducted in a quiet and respectful atmosphere.

Following the ceremony at Arlington, Trump and Vance departed. Later that evening, Trump was scheduled to address a "MAGA Victory" rally at Capitol One Arena, maintaining the momentum of his campaign style events.
