Trump Nominates Sean Curran as Secret Service Director, Announces Other Key Appointments

Former President Donald Trump has nominated Sean Curran, the head of his personal Secret Service detail, to lead the agency. In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his confidence in Curran, describing him as a "great patriot" and "brilliant leader." He highlighted Curran's role in protecting him during a perceived assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Trump also announced the nomination of Andrew F. Puzder, former CEO of CKE Restaurants (Carl's Jr. and Hardee's), as U.S. ambassador to the European Union. Trump praised Puzder's business acumen and leadership, expressing confidence in his ability to represent U.S. interests.

Additionally, conservative writer L. Brent Bozell III has been tapped to lead the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM). Trump lauded Bozell's understanding of the global media landscape and his commitment to American principles. He believes Bozell will bring needed change to the agency, which oversees Voice of America and other state-funded media outlets.
