Close to 700 University of North Dakota graduates experienced an unexpected surprise upon receiving their diplomas: the wrong university's name and seal were printed on the documents. The diplomas mistakenly identified the graduates as alumni of North Dakota State University. UND officials discovered the error on July 3rd and attributed it to a printing mistake by their vendor, Parchment, Inc. Registrar Scott Correll issued an apology to the affected graduates, assuring them that the vendor is working diligently to rectify the situation. Replacement diplomas are expected to be mailed shortly.
